Traveling workshop “Bike and wine”
A traveling workshop “Bike and wine” was conducted in the period 13-16 July, 2020. The traveling workshop was held with duration of 4 days starting from Belogradchik, district Vidin and ending in Negotin, district Bor. Participants spent 2 days and 2 nights in Vidin district and 2 days and 1 night in Bor district.
On 13th, 14th and 15th July the traveling workshop was in Bulgaria – Belogradchik, Borovitsa, Falkovets, Rabisha, Vidin and Novo selo. On 15th after wine tasting in Novo selo village, district Vidin, the tour continued in Negotin, Rogljevo and Bukovo monastery in Negotin. 52 cross-border participants take part in the event. Participants were representatives of media, tour operator, associations.
There are two interesting events coming soon related to Bike and Wine project
- BIKE & WINE Traveling workshop, intended for media and stakeholder representatives, to promote the developed bike and wine routes and improve the work of the Bike and Wine Tourist Network. 50 representatives of media and stakeholders from the Vidin district and the Bor and Zajecar districts can enroll in the workshop on bikes;
- BIKE & WINE Festival is the final event of the project. The event will be held in the town of Belogradchik and aims to promote the developed routes and raise awareness of the opportunities for bicycle and wine tourism in the cross-border region; Citizens over 18 years of age can take part with their own bicycles.
